Something that would be a cool final smash would be if they brought back transformation final smashes, it temporarily changes all of your spells to their void versions and maybe have the sporeshroom charm equipped or something to slightly buff focus.

What if the Hollow Knight/Sealed Vessel was in smash: Stage intro: The Hollow Knight would crash down from the sky and do the scream that we see them do in the sealed vessel boss fight Weight: They would be a pretty heavy character considering their size. Jab: They would do the basic 3 hit jab attack we see them do in the sealed vessel boss. This would also send them forward a little bit for each hit. Dash attack: The basic lunge attack they do in the sealed vessel boss. Side tilt: They would just swing their nail in an awkward angle (this one is innovated) Up tilt: They would do a nail stab upwards (again innovated) Down tilt: They would stab their nail low to the ground like Marth’s down tilt (once again innovated) Side smash: They would shoot infection balls in front of themselves it would flinch anyone who’s hit by it and launch upon the final infection ball. This would work kinda like Mii Gunner’s side smash. Up smash: infection would sprout from their chest then quickly retract this is a nod to the bouncing balloon attack they could do in the sealed vessel boss. Down smash: They would stab their nail into the ground and 2 of the flame pillars would come from below the ground. 1 behind the Hollow knight and 1 in front of them. Getting hit by the pillars does damage and getting hit by the nail deals BIG damage and would also slightly bounce the target just enough so the flame pillars hit as well. N-air: infection would sprout from their chest and 6 balls of infection would launch off in a circle shape. The infection balls flinch the target and deal about 6 percent per infection ball. Forward air: Just a basic nail swing forward while in the air. Back air: They would lift their nail up then stab behind themself hitting enemies who are behind them while in the air. Up air: Infection would sprout from their chest just like for the up smash but it would be quicker and wouldn’t deal as much. Down air: They would fall straight down nail first and if they land on another player on the ground who is at a high damage percentage the enemy would be buried and if it’s in the air the enemy will be spiked instead. Grab: They would grab with 1 hand and pummel by stabbing the opponent with their nail Forward Throw: They would push the opponent forward and slash at them sending them farther Back Throw: They would spin around then toss the opponent and would then shoot infection balls at them sending them farther. Up throw: They would lightly toss the enemy up then quickly stab their nail into the ground causing a flame pillar to shoot up directly under the enemy sending them up. Down throw: They would slam the opponent into the ground and then stab then with their nail burying them into the ground. Neutral special: They would shoot infection balls again only this time if you just tap it only 1 will shoot out. If you press it up to 6 times more will come out. And all of them will count as projectiles and do flinch opponents if they land. And if all 6 land it will switch the opponents controls for a bit. Side special: The Hollow Knight would summon an infection balloon and only 3 can be spawned at a time. These balloons will target the closest opponent. And when they reach said opponent they will stun the opponent for a bit. Down side is that these balloons are pretty slow and can be easily avoided if the opponent see’s them coming. (I figured if Broken Vessel another infected vessel can do it then The Hollow Knight who is also an infected vessel can. Plus I’m running out of ideas Lmao 😭) Up special: This would be the actual bouncing balloon attack. Infection would sprout from their chest and would cause them to fly up (you can move left and right while they fly up) and then after about 3 seconds will quickly slam down. And if it slams down while in the air that’s a stock gone. If your playing with stock last that is 💀. Down special: It would be the counter attack that the Hollow Knight does in the sealed vessel fight. Final Smash: They would swing their nail forwards and all opponents who are hit will be pulled into a cinematic. It would then play out with the opponents being taken to The Radiance arena. The sun in the background would then grow wings and The Radiance would then appear. The Radiance would hit the opponents with a barrage of light orbs, light beams, and of course *S W O R D S* The Radiance would then finish them off by doing a large light burst attack causing the cinematic to end. And if the opponent is 100% or higher they will be automatically K.O.ed. Taunt 1: They would do the roar that we see them do at the beginning of the Sealed Vessel fight. Taunt 2: They would stab themselves then fall to the ground then get back up just like in the Sealed Vessel fight. Taunt 3: They would stab their nail into the ground then kneel down as if their struggling to stand then get back up and pull their nail out of the ground. Victory animation 1: It would show the Hollow Knight in chains where they would just stare at the camera with their infected eyes. Victory animation 2: They would turn their back towards the camera and try and do the Pure Vessel pose but would struggle to stand while doing so. Victory animation 3: This one would show the exit to The Abyss. The Pale King would be seen with a younger version of the Hollow Knight. The Pale King would then walk out. Then when the Hollow Knight’s name shows up on the screen the younger version of the Hollow Knight would look behind themselves at the camera then when it disappears they would turn back around and follow The Pale King. Then the camera would fall down while it fades to black. And while it falls you would hear a cloak flowing in the wind as if this was The Knight’s POV. Also the music you hear (The victory theme and the theme after it) would be completely gone for THIS victory animation and you would just hear the cloak flowing. This is a direct reference to the birthplace cutscene in Hollow Knight. Alt 1: The basic Sealed Vessel look. Alt 2: This would give them a red cloak in reference to Hornet. Alt 3: This would give them a dark gray cloak in reference to The Knight. Alt 4: They would get an entirely white body with yellow eyes with a dark face surrounding the eyes. This is a reference to The Radiance. Alt 5: This would give them a cracked shell with a giant infection bubble coming out of it. And a gray cloak. This is a reference to the Broken Vessel. Alt 6: This would give them blue eyes and a blue cloak referencing Lifeblood. Alt 7: This could be a single alternate costume. Giving them the look of Pure Vessel. Alt 8: and this could have 1 alternate color making them purely black with white eyes. Referencing the Hollow Knights shade in the dream no more ending when they helped The Knight kill the Radiance. DAMN this was A LOT 💀

I think something good to have for grab (even if it might not make as much sense) is to have the knights siblings appear and hold the opponent while the knight attacks

i know this is an old video but i would love to see a nail upgrading system where you can summon the nail master and for some geo (collected from attacking your opponent) you can upgrade your nail. you can recover you geo by attacking your shade that spawns in the middle of the stage after death.

I'll be honest, I don't know if I like the way you tied the Soul gauge in. All but one of his specials can become unusable, as well as one of his smash attacks? Part of his basic kit is dependent on a resource? I really don't see the character doing well _at all_ in actual play due to the fact that, without Soul, he'd become the weakest character in the game.

Both the ideas and animations in this video are really sick, I'd love to see the knight in smash

I have two ideas. First, the final smash could've been him mistaking them as a charm and becoming overcharmed. Second, you forgot color variations

Instead of the grab bring him holding them. It should be that he realeses a void tendril to grab them and slap them with his pummel attack. This would also give the move a slight range increse. Also his soul should slowly increse over time. Like when he has the king soul charm equipped or taking damage or loss I g a stock like grub song.

Honestly, every character we want in Smash is already in RoA with movesets that are great. Knight included.
